But in June 2013, the varsity Anna worked for was one of fifty three Chicago Public Schools that was completely shuttered. After being laid off, Anna wasted no time to find her next career. She took this as a chance to move her profession in a new path â€" aiming to become a Network Specialist. Knowing that she would wish further certifications to make this occur, Anna visited the Chicago Heights Workforce Center and acquired career help with the assistance of the Workforce Investment Act. While at the Center, she noticed a flyer for IT Career Lab and knew that it might be the right program for her to continue her education. Anna enrolled in IT Career Lab and earned her CompTIA Net work+ certification, Cisco Certified Networking Entry Technician (CCENT) certification, and her Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification! Once she acquired her certifications, it wasn’t long before her first job provide got here in! Anna was recently hired by Comcast and starts her new job this week! Anna had an excellent experience at IT Career lab and said she would extremely suggest it to anybody excited about getting into the technology industry. “IT Career Lab was excellent.
